Get here early. Fresh delivery of croissants, loaves and pastel de nata and almond versions also. Once sold out they close up. Tiny shop and incredible value/quality

Es ist für mich im Urlaub Kult geworden, am Morgen, irgendwann nach 8, die Öffnungszeit schwankt in Abhängigkeit der Lieferung, mich in die Schlange der Wartenden einzureihen als gebe es Bananen um dann bei der älteren Lady ein leckeres Pastel de Nata und ein Croissant zu holen. Authentisch schön.

It's become a cult for me on vacation: in the morning, sometime after 8:00 a.m. (The opening hours vary depending on deliveries), I'll join the queue as if I were getting bananas, and then get a delicious pastel de nata and a croissant from the older lady. Authentically beautiful.

Da ich jeden Morgen dort war, wurde man oft schon von weitem begrüßt, da die Inhaberin gerne in der Tür steht. Die Backwaren haben uns so überzeugt, dass die Bäckerei schnell Teil unseres morgendlichen Rituals wurde – meist haben wir die Sachen mitgenommen und am Strand gegessen. Ein Ort, zu dem ich jederzeit gerne zurückkehren würde.Tradução
A small bakery run by a friendly lady. They sell until everything is sold out, so those who arrive late might miss out. Despite the language barrier (no English), communication was limited, but we still felt like we understood each other. Since I was there every morning, I was often greeted from a distance, as the owner likes to stand in the doorway. We were so impressed by the baked goods that the bakery quickly became part of our morning ritual—we usually took the items with us and ate them on the beach. A place I would gladly return to anytime.

At around 8 in the morning a van arrives with fresh bread, rolls and croissants (the Portuguese version). As soon as the somewhat abrupt 'baker' has sold everything, the door closes again. You can probably pre-order, otherwise the day starts well for the early bird.
